We have finally finish this exercise about blog!!&lt;br /&gt;I think that such exercise is good because you have to read and to write regularly something in English. It requires some regularity, research and imagination.&lt;br /&gt;I would advise my teacher to continue this blog exercise because students can’t choose the theme they are interested in and it is more easy to speak about it.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The problem of such exercise is that you can’t organize yourself in your work as you want. For me, I must dedicate more than one hour per week for my blog and some week, it is not always easy: specially when I have to study finance where I not really good!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Finally, I would say that I have learnt a little bit about my theme: advertising on television.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt; I have loved discovering the concept and technology of blog: I am sure it will be well know and really use in a near future. I will certainly use it again in my personal or professional life. I am more talking about advertising which make us feel bad. This marketing strategy is usually used by the “road security” which wants to prevent the car accident on the road. I think that the impact of such advertising is huge. At the end, you have really understood the danger of driving drunk or without your belt. In the French television there is the same kind of shocking advertising to prevent sexual diseases as Aids. England is quite an expert of these kind of advertising. (See the picture on cigarettes boxes.)&lt;br /&gt;According to me, these advertisings have a significant importance because it touch everybody quite well. But I would be interested to see how children received these information. The violence of the picture and the sadness can not be well perceived. This new technology targets two thirds of the French who just have access to six channels. Moreover, thanks TNT, the capacity and the quality of picture will be improved. For the first time since 1986, 14 free new channels will be created. And this free offer is going to be multiplied by tree.&lt;br /&gt;An adapter of 80 euros will be enough to receive all the channels. Today, only 35% of the French population can have access to the TNT because some areas are not disserved.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;But the increase of the offer can’t be considered as a threat to the 6 first channels.  On the contrary, the increase of the offer should benefit to all the channels as a positive competition. However, not free channel like “cannal satellite” looks these new actors on television as dangerous competitors. There is no use anymore for consumers to buy something that they can find free.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;There is a last danger to this new offer. In body cream ad, diet product ad, shampoo ad, or lingerie advertising… naked women are nearly everywhere. Images of naked women on television are not really well accepted by women today in our society. And it is worth in the other culture. In some countries, regulations have already been set up to prevent an exaggeration of this trend. But in France or in Italy, the population is much more tolerant and appreciate quite well the beauty of the women’s body. In 2001, according to a study, 46% of the interviewed persons (that is to say women and MEN!) were shocked by the representation of women on television. In some cases, I agree. What disturbs me in advertising, is the representation of the woman: she is not considered as a person but as an object, or a toy. There is too much sexual connotation. Thanks this mass media, advertising can touch easily its target. According to this &lt;a href="http://www.sweden.se/templates/cs/Print_CommonPage.aspx?id=4595"&gt;article written in 2001&lt;/a&gt;, Sweden has banned adverting on television, which wanted to target children less than 12 years old and also commercial who target directly children under 16 years old. Every advertising targeting children is banned before or after every emission for children or emission supposed to be looked by children. Obviously, TV spots on alcohol and tobacco are already forbidden on television in order to protect the younger.&lt;br /&gt;Last year, according to an article (on Lexis Nexis), China has also taken some measures to protect children in banning TV commercial for breast/plastic surgery, hygiene product for women and some medicines.&lt;br /&gt;Such measures have already been taken around Europe. Should France introduce a law to protect children from the manipulation of TV spots?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;According to me, children are not responsible. They have not the behaviour of adults. They don’t know yet what is good are not for their health, if the product is useful are not. They can lose the notion of reality, of the money value for example. Thanks to the manipulation of TV ads and the aggressive marketing, they are too much tempted and do an annoying pressure to their parents in order to have the product they wanted. Parents could have more difficulties to manage and educate their children who are getting spoiled. They can’t control everything and what ads put into the mind of their child. Advertising lures children. In the end, children will always be tire up by the moral of their parents and their passions and desire, created artificially by this advertising. These futures buyers won’t be responsible consumers. That is why we can consider that commercial for children can be really dangerous.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Therefore, I think that restricting ads on TV for children would be a good idea. The theme is really original and treated in a comic way. We can see a man and a woman who are fighting in an Asiatic decor. The woman seems to resist to the charm of this attracting man. But when he finally puts some deodorant she finally fall in love. The slogan is "the Axe effect"!The underlying message is that women can't resist to you when they smells this sensual perfume.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Arial;color:#33cc00;"&gt;&lt;/span&gt; &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;color:#33cc00;"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;color:#33cc00;"&gt;It is obvious that the target is young people. The actors and the theme make the custommers believed that he will be like Keanu Reeves in the Film and that nobody would resist to him.
